The Octopus FAKIR Noseclip is an advanced tool for seasoned freedivers, designed to facilitate hands-free equalization of both the ears and the dive mask. Its Tritan® construction offers exceptional strength while allowing a slight, spring-like flex. This unique feature allows the noseclip to open marginally when the pressure for middle ear equalization is exceeded, permitting a small amount of air to enter the mask and prevent squeeze. The user can adjust the tightness for optimal performance with their specific mask and nasal anatomy. Two key innovations – micro-teeth on the inner surfaces for grip and an adjustable elastic band – ensure the FAKIR remains securely positioned on nearly any diving mask throughout the dive. This hands-free capability is invaluable for freedivers and spearfishers, promoting deeper relaxation and freeing hands for line management or equipment operation.
