The Halcyon Big Diver's Alert Marker (DAM/SMB) offers enhanced surface visibility with its 4.5-foot (1.4m) length, making it an excellent choice for divers in open water or areas with boat traffic. Its closed-circuit design, coupled with an integrated over-pressure valve (OPV), ensures the marker remains fully inflated upon reaching the surface and allows for safe deployment from depth without risk of rupture. Inflation is versatile via the Halcyon No-Lock® connector (for LP hose) or oral inflation. For maximum detectability, even in low light or challenging conditions, this SMB is equipped with Coast Guard approved SOLAS reflective tape. Constructed from rugged 200 denier nylon and featuring Halcyon's lifetime-warrantied RF-welded seams, it’s built for durability. When deflated, it remains compact enough for storage in a Halcyon thigh pocket or MC Storage Pak. Ideal for technical divers, CCR divers, and safety-conscious recreational divers.
