The Octopus Safety Stopper in fluorescent yellow is a crucial piece of safety equipment for any freediving line setup, designed to prevent lanyard carabiners from getting stuck or snagged. Its innovative two-part design is made from strong ABS plastic. The upper surface is almost flat, providing a reliable and clean stopping point for the lanyard carabiner at the bottom of the line. The lower part features a conical shape, engineered to guide or "expel" the lanyard cable outwards, minimizing the chance of it wrapping around or catching on the stopper itself. With a diameter of 75mm (wider than a tennis ball), it offers an effective barrier. It's optimized for use with 10mm to 12mm freediving ropes but can also be used with ropes down to 8mm. The stopper is assembled around the rope using a simple knot inside and secured with three stainless steel cross-head screws, ensuring it stays firmly in place. You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
